When will the Paraguay 2023 Elections be?

The Paraguay 2023 General Elections will be held this Sunday, April 30 under the joint organization of the Government of Mario Abdo Benítez and Electoral Justice.

These elections will have the participation of 4,782,940 qualified voters, both inside and outside the national territory, in the 1,157 determined polling places.

Who will be elected in the next elections in Paraguay?

In the next elections to be held in Paraguay there will be a total of 9,095 candidates in contention, who seek to occupy the following positions:

• A President and Vice President of the Republic.

• 45 senators and 30 alternates.

• 80 deputies and 80 substitutes.

• 17 governors.

• 257 titular members and 257 substitutes for the Departmental Boards.

Who is winning in the polls?

According to the latest survey carried out by Ati Snead Consultores and published on April 14, the presidency will be debated between Santiago Peña, for the Colorado party, and Efraín Alegre, for the National Concertation.

Also, according to the percentage difference of the latest surveys, Peña is placed as a possible winner.
