Buying a new house is a great achievement and even more so if you are going to share it with your loved ones. That was the dream come true Amber Hall, who along with her two children and her two pets moved to Colorado, in the United States. Everything seemed to be going well until one of her dogs started barking non-stop as she stared at the walls. She never imagined that, after getting close to her, she would discover something that would leave her “scared for her life”.
“I went closer to see what he was looking at, I thought it was like a spider or something, and there were two little holes here and I saw snakes slithering down the wall. So, I panicked,” said the 42-year-old woman. In total there were 10 “surprisingly large” creatures.
This massive infestation worried Hall greatly for the lives of her two children. Also, the mother pointed out that the wall was hot, so she thinks there would be more snakes. It is still unknown what species they are or how much danger they represent. “After all the investigation, everyone says they are a kind of garter snake. But they also warn that no one has ever seen their snake that big,” she explained.
Amber can’t go through with the move. “I can’t unpack any of my stuff because I’m definitely afraid there are snakes in the boxes or under the boxes. It’s like you get into bed and if the sheet rubs against your foot or something, you immediately remove it or jump out of bed to make sure there’s nothing there,” she said.
Totally disappointed, since she had worked to have a house of her own, called a snake charmer. He explained that, due to its enormous size, it looks like he had been living on the property for almost two years.
The woman paid $1,000 to remove all those animals. “I don’t feel like I’m the first to find them, but I don’t think anyone would say they knew they were there,” she added.
