Mark Titley, a 58-year-old paramedic, was discovered while robbed a 94-year-old woman who had just died, after he arrived along with three other specialists after receiving an emergency call to go to the home of the elderly woman in Shrewbury, UK.
According to the English media Metro, the paramedics had tried to revive her without success, after she fainted in the garden of her home.
One of the cameras installed in the house captured the precise moment when Titley takes 60 pounds (about 75 dollars) They were inside a plastic box. Realizing that he had been recorded on the security camera, he put the money back where he had found it.

After seeing the images, the woman’s son immediately took them to the authorities. Metro indicated that, after learning about the outrageous fact, the man said he felt “disgust and nausea” for seeing Titley stealing from her recently deceased mother.
Although at first he indicated that his intention was to give him the money from the woman’s relatives, Titley ended up accepting the charges and he was sentenced to 18 months in prison and to perform 120 hours of unpaid work.
Likewise, the man, who was terminated by the West Midlands Ambulance Service after he learned of the incident, he will also have to pay 717 pounds (almost 900 dollars) as compensation for the damage to the woman’s relatives
“Our staff will be horrified that one of their former colleagues would have done something like this,” said ambulance chief Nathan Hudson.
