Man arrested for abandoning his sick father in a bakery: “I was tired of taking care of him”

Despite his attempts to evade the police, security cameras gave him away. A 35-year-old man was arrested for abandoning his sick father in a bakery, because “I was tired of taking care of it”. According to the Military Police (PM), for the son it was “a lot of work” to deal with the psychopathic crises suffered by the 65-year-old man. This happened last Sunday in Luziania, Brazil.

According to the information provided by the authorities, the man had been responsible for his father since 2016, since he had become very aggressive, to such an extent that he came to attacking his mother when it was her turn to take care of him. This last fact prompted the subject to abandon it.in order for a police officer to find him and help him.

It was a bakery employee who noticed the great time the man had been in the place, so he called the police. During that period, they tried to locate a relative, while the workers fed him and took him to the bathroom, according to the G1 portal.

Thanks to the security cameras, the agents were able to identify the license plate of the son’s vehicle. They immediately went to his house. They asked him about his father and he replied that he was in the hospital. Despite this, he was arrested for abandonment of incapable and transferred to the city’s Civil Police Station.

The authorities are in charge of the investigation of the case, in which they will listen to the son and the father to clarify the facts.
