In Latin America a single train unites two countries —among the Argentine population of inns and the neighboring Paraguayan city of Incarnationlinked by 8 kilometers of railway—, is the only exception in a region that looks forward to a network like that of Europe, with affordable prices and that go from one point to another in the city in a short time. Why can’t you build an equally long and functional system? The answers revolve around the distances, the cost and the preference in the use of the car or plane.
Throughout the world, the use of this mode of transport is something daily due to safety, speed and less pollution compared to airplanes. The fastest in the world is in China, and covers the route between the airport of Shanghai Pudong and the station longyang road. It reaches a maximum speed of 460 kilometers per hour and completes the 30-kilometer course in just seven and a half minutes.

In the last days, the Government of Chile presented, in a ceremony held in the vicinity of the Central Station, two of the six new trains. They will work with two types of routes: one will be express, reducing the current travel time by 80 minutes; and another intermediate service, which will connect the main regional capitals.
The Chilean Minister of Transport, Juan Carlos Munozinformed that the wagons reach the maximum speed of 160 kilometers per hour, which makes them the most modern and fastest in all of Latin America.

The trains had an investment of 70 million dollars and will be able to transport 236 passengersas explained by holder of said portfolio.
“These (two) first cars will be in active service in the second half of this year, while the remaining four (throughout) 2023. Now we present them to society and the white march begins,” he announced.
With this implementation, will be reduced to 3 hours and 40 minutes the journey between Santiago From Chile and the capital of Ă‘uble. “Today the Santiago-ChillĂ¡n trip takes about five hours, that is a saving of 80 minutes,” Muñoz said.
